Futurism is seeking a Associate Marketing Strategist with a passionate interest in emerging technologies to play a pivotal role in our growing agency. This role will touch every piece of the new business and client service process, working with leadership through business development to analyzing the performance of final creative deliverables. The right individual will be an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented and creative communicator who is enthusiastic about playing a role throughout the entire lifecycle of the marketing process.

The day to day

  • Assist with day-to-day program execution for clients
  • Project manage the production process across the lifecycle, on-boarding freelancers and internal staff, tracking budgets and timeline, and interfacing with internal teams
  • Consult with senior agency staff on project health and escalations
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to manage the posting of client content and proactively offer strategic suggestions to optimize performance 
  • Work with editorial teams to track content performance in analytic reporting across platforms and report to internal teams and clients on a regular basis 
  • Contribute to developing creative and relevant program recommendations for clients
  • Own administrative account activities – agendas, recaps, budget tracking, processing invoices, freelance contracts, etc
  • Coordinate meetings and facilitate clear lines of communication between clients and internal teams
  • Support the team in forming POVs around potential clients
  • Serve as the backbone of the new business process, conducting research, building and owning master decks, scheduling calls and follow up items, and communicating with the executive team for oversight
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging science, technology and media innovations and trends and demonstrate understanding of how they can be integrated into communications programs


  • 1-3 years of social/digital account and/or creative experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Literacy and interest in emerging technologies and futuristic trends
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking when approaching assignments and providing recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and GoogleSuite products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, GoogleDocs, GoogleSheets, and GDrive 
  • Interest in web development, UX, graphic design, video production a plus
  • Ability to work as member of a team with a positive attitude and take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
